He was an innovator in the solar energy industry in the 70's, the electronic toy industry in the 80's, and the infomercial industry in the 90's. He changed home monitoring with the development and licensing of the first baby monitor and improved food storage with the marketing of the FoodSaver. Over 40 years of developing, licensing, and marketing products from toys and games to environmental breakthroughs, and revolutionary medical innovations, he has created millions of dollars, developed thousands of products and licensed hundreds of properties. As a consultant to a venture capital firm, he revolutionized the Las Vegas soil industry with microbial inoculants and developed products for Catalyst Technologies, one of the first technology incubators. He worked with some of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time, leading innovators, bestselling authors, and visionary business minds. He has the experience of what sells in the retail aisles and what works in the corporation, the laboratory, and the classroom. Bill is currently a Mentor at U.C. Davis for marketing innovation. As adjunct faculty for over 16 years at the University of California at Berkeley he wrote, taught, and instituted the Entrepreneurship & Innovation class and five classes for the Direct Marketing Certificate Program.
