I led Product Management, UX and Support at Brilliant, with a focus on Smart Energy, PropTech (MultiFamily) and Smart Home.Brilliant is trusted by hundreds of builders, developers, and property managers across the U.S. and Canada as a standard feature of their homes and apartments, providing homeowners and renters a simple way to control their smart homes.

I was the GM responsible for building out the subscription business, the product strategy, and mobile apps at NETGEAR. I led the software Product, UX, and User Research teams.

I joined Roku as a startup and built and led the core Product Management team through its IPO.* Head of Product, Roku OS -- Led and grew the core product team at Roku that was responsible for all features of the Roku OS, including the Home Screen, AI and Machine Learning based Search & Discovery, Voice Assistant, Roku Mobile App, Accounts, Customer Self-Service Support, etc). Drove the release planning process for Roku OS (eventually 100+ people).* Head of Product, The Roku Channel and Engagement -- Built and led the product team for the Roku Channel from conception to being a top 5 app on Roku. My team was also responsible for building AI and Machine Learning based product features to drive overall engagement on Roku.

I was responsible for increasing user engagement across all of Yahoo’s mobile applications (Finance, Sports, News, Weather, etc) through the use of push notifications, breaking news and other personalized content. Conceived and launched a breaking news discovery and notification system that increased daily active users in the Yahoo News app by 100%, helping to make it the most popular news app in the US.

My team was responsible for delivering engaging OTT video experiences across devices for nearly 200 million unique viewers in over 130 countries each month. We work closely with some of the largest operators, media companies and brands around the world, such as ESPN, Miramax, Telstra and Viacam to define the next generation of OTT video experiences. I drove the Mobile, Connected TV and Multi-Screen video strategy and execution for the company.

Owned and managed the initial release of Adobe eSignatures, a SaaS-based electronic signature service that validated the market for an Adobe signature service and helped pave the way for Adobe’s EchoSign acquisition. Received an “Innovation Award” for new product innovation.Owned and managed the initial version of Adobe’s Digital Letterbox offering for securely receiving sensitive content electronically. It includes a SaaS-based application as well as mobile apps for Android, iPhone and iPad.Responsible for working with Adobe solution partners to make their Adobe LiveCycle-based solutions available as cloud hosted offerings with subscription-based pricing and enterprise SLAs.

As the manager of a 10-person team, was responsible for delivering a number of concurrent releases of Adobe's Enterprise Document Security solution as part of Adobe LiveCycle, Adobe Reader, Flash Media Rights Management Server and partner releases.Responsible for integrating both the people and technology from Adobe's Navisware acquisition.

Co-conceived, designed and implemented Adobe's Enterprise Rights Management solution for documents (Adobe Policy Server). Built a team and delivered it as a shipping product.Conceived, designed, implemented and sold internally a small embedded secure database that now sits on most computers in the world as part of the Adobe Reader, as well as Adobe AIR and other Adobe applications.

Conceived, designed and implemented a prototype peer-to-peer music sharing system as part of a research team. The system placed controls on the distribution and use of content, while providing an extremely simple user interface. Designed and implemented a novel embedded database system that guarantees the security of its data in a hostile environment as part of a research team.
