Prior to joining BioCryst, I held a 14-year tenure at Amgen, where I led or supervised several preclinical and clinical development phase product development teams, and later organized and led the company’s Medical Affairs functions in the US and Europe, making significant contributions to the successful launch of many innovative new drugs, including Aranesp®, Enbrel®, Kineret®, Neulasta®, and Sensipar®, organized the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research function. I earned a MB BS degree (MD equivalent) at the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. I’m a board-certified Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, with a subspecialty in medical oncology, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
