BioBlend has created a complete line of industrial lubricants made from renewable and sustainable resources. We are utilizing the latest in bio-based feedstocks and additives to create these high performance lubricants. Our products have successfully been in the field since 2001. In 2016, we launched a line of automotive engine oils. These oils are renewable, synthetic, provide for extended drain intervals and increased fuel economy over conventional oils. Our mission is to create biobased lubricants for the next generation of users and fundamentally change the industry for users today. Served on the Board of Directors from 2011-2018.

Mid-Town Petroleum is one of the largest petroleum distributors in the Chicago region. During my tenure, revenues increased 32% and adjusted EBITDA increased 42%. Advised on the acquisition strategy for the company, which included the purchase of BioBlend in July, 2006. Transitioned to help lead the management team at BioBlend in the Spring, 2007.

Motherboard creates innovative gift products utilizing recycled circuit boards. Instead of the boards going to the landfill, we used them to create a variety of useful things: lamps, clocks, coasters, clipboards, etc. We acquired the company in April, 2002 and I actively led the sales, marketing, finance, and operations. We streamlined operations and positioned the company for continued growth. Completed the successful sale and transition of the company in February, 2005.

Oilspot and Fuelquest were technology companies developing software for the petroleum industry. As a member of the management team for Oilspot, was responsible for the daily financial operations and capital raising efforts. Led negotiations in the successful merger with Fuelquest in October, 2000. After the merger, managed the web development team dedicated to the MarketLink product.

As a commercial banker, achieved an annual average growth rate in loan commitments of 50%. Actively managed 40 middle market corporate relationships with total loan commitments in excess of $45m. Expanded existing relationships and developed new business utilizing a variety of products including: investment banking, real estate services, cash management, and trusts.
