Learning & development strategy and consulting services

Teaching graduate courses on information systems and management.

Focused on design, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning content and education technology. Evaluate, plan, and implement learning and development technology solutions with internal stakeholders and users. Primary manager of learning management systems, including system administration, vendor relations, user engagement, dashboards, data integration, and reporting. Curates content libraries and collaborates with subject matter experts, facilitators, and instructional designers to design, develop, implement, and continually improve online and instructor-led learning content. Curates, develops, and delivers mandated and career development training, including managerial, emotional intelligence (EQ), technical, HRM (healthcare record management), and employee safety training. Designs, coordinates, and produces webinars, meetings, conferences, and learning events.

Dean of the Corporate College. Vice Chair and founding member of the Information Technology and Data Governance Committee. Plans, launches, and enhances knowledge management, employee development programs, and learning initiatives. Designs and establishes benchmarks for organizational development programs. Supervised MBA and BBA programs, and managed full-time and adjunct faculty members in the D.W. Johnston School of Business.

Responsible for managing and developing undergraduate and graduate faculty. Managed degree programs in management, marketing, organizational change, human resource management, travel industry management and general business.

I joined HPU as an assistant professor of information systems, and was promoted to associate rank in August 2005. I was the IS program chair from 2003 until 2006. My programs included the MSIS, MSIS Professional (MSISP), the MBA IS concentration, and 5 graduate professional certificate programs. I have participated in several college and university committees for graduate programs, strategic planning, Web services, faculty development and the Frear Center. For the 2007-2008 academic year, I was elected as chair of the HPU Faculty Assembly. I lead a 30-member governance committee that represents the faculty's interests and performs administrative duties.

Managed information systems, information technology, and network services for 30 employees at multiple locations. Analyzed sustainable business opportunities, and provided support to executives and end users.

I started in Austin as an instructor. After a year, I moved to instruction management. One year later, I shifted to the CIW program, where I managed certification exam development, our exam delivery contracts with VUE and Prometric, and various other projects.

While I was at USI, I was the co-founder of the Academy of Management's first web site at http://pace.aom.eduI taught over 20 sections of undergraduate business ethics, management principles, and business policy courses while I lived in Evansville. I also attended the University of South Carolina's faculty development workshop on international business before I taught an international business courses at USI.

I taught 12 sections of undergraduate and MBA business ethics and strategy courses on the downtown campus.

I did production accounting and database development in the Arlington and Tysons Corner offices of a French civil engineering firm. Our subsidiary operated several facilities around the US that produced precast traffic barriers and panels, primarily for construction sites and state transportation projects.
