The Wall Street Journal was a professional home for twenty years, based in Tokyo, New York, Rome, Dubai and New Delhi while reporting from more than three dozen countries from Latin America to China. Between two separate decades working at the WSJ, I was part of the leadership team that started and established The National, a newspaper in Abu Dhabi the United Arab Emirates, between 2007-10.
