Architect test code and systems for verifying functionality of Enterprise level Solid-State Drives (SSD's) over a range of operating systems and drivers. Work is in C and Python across multiple Windows, Linux and VMware environments. Jenkins systems are used for managing test execution on over 80 test servers. Manage a team of 9 engineers, half local and the other half in India.

Debug problems in graphic processors which are part of current Intel CPU's. Involves handling bugs found internally and from OEM customers. Bugs must be reproduced by duplicating the hardware, OS, and driver configurations given on bug reports. Reproduced bugs are analyzed using a variety of test boards, test software, test link hardware and sophisticated logic analyzers and serial signal analyzers. Produce test and automation scripts in Python. Contract position which I left for permanent position at Micron.

Work in Python for testing of internet connected ZigBee Smart Energy framework. Work on Rabbit product line, compiler and libraries. Lead engineer on Rabbit's fault tolerant FAT filesystem library. This library included use of a battery backed writeback cache and transaction journaling with automatic completion or rollback of transactions if interrupted by power outage. Created software system to manage automated production of customized single board computer products. This involved detailed control of robotic pick and place equipment and custom test equipment. This system was developed using C++, Prolog, XML, ColdFusion and SQL databases.

Created smartcard based payment system for utility metering and control. Work was mostly C with some assembly language programming. Short length was due to HP sale of VeriFone to Gores Tech. Group which resulted in 40% of staff being laid off.

Developed embedded software for high volume security sensor products. This involved complex signal processing on small, extremely low cost microcontrollers with limited memory and resources. Created a US patented software approach for handling shock within the sensor without false alarming. Much of this work was in assembly language.

Developed high end weather instruments and systems for industrial and aviation applications. This included all code within their flagship Q-net system. This was a networked set of sensor interface boards connected to a main controller board. Boards in this system were based on the 80C188, 80C552 & 80C52 processors. Developed the software for TAMS and TAMS-II portable weather stations for USAF and emergency response teams.

Worked on robotic physical therapy equipment for exercising of injured joints in a highly monitored and controlled environment. Monitored force being exerted on the joint and adjusted resistance in real time to keep stresses within selected parameters.
