I am a two-time founder in the food/tech space. I co-founded Primal Palate in 2010 with my wife Hayley, starting out as a creators and expanding our offering into CPG in 2015. We grew Primal Palate to 350k followers and leverage our influencer status to create recipes that generate product sales. Our experience seeing both the creator and brand side of this ecosystem led us to founding FoodSocial in 2021.My time in this space has afforded me a front row seat to several eras of the creator economy, as well as a great evolution of clean-label products in the natural foods space. I've seen firsthand how creators as exploited and brands are extorted by the big social platforms. I'm passionate about creating the source content home for recipes, and an ecosystem that is equitable to both creators and brands.My diverse skillset includes: marketing, design, content creation, collaboration and partnerships, branding, e-commerce, photography and videography, product design, product management, and team management. As a former landscape architect, I am a creative leader that thrives in multidisciplinary teams, and I enjoy tackling complex challenges.Beyond work, I am a dedicated father and husband, a lifelong musician, skilled DIYer, and avid autocrosser pursuing an SCCA national championship.
