Automatic migration of clients from legacy payroll system to new system. Implementation effort focused on development of migration tool and enhancement of existing payroll system to seamless integrate incoming client data.Java development using Spring. Integration with SQL Server and Oracle databases.

Activities focused on moving from Xerox's core printing and document management competencies into new markets and services.- Personalized Learning Pathways. Acted as primary operational leader managing all aspects of the development of an innovative learning solution targeted to K-12 school districts. Worked with PARC Ethnographers to understand work processes, determine needs and requirements of partner school district administrators and lead teachers. Created initial system architecture, user experience concepts, analytics visualizations and recommendations, development roadmap and supervised implementation of initial proof of concept using offshore development team.- Learning Analytics. Led exploratory project focused on data aggregation and fusion of education data. Worked with local school district to design and implement algorithms focused on prediction of mastery. Implemented ETL process.- Recommendation System for Medication Adherence. Worked with customer to develop requirements, design and implement a context based recommendation system. Delivered as a component of a wellness application designed to improve medication and lifestyle regime adherence for diabetes patients. Developed tools and processes to automate ingestion of new content.- Big Data Stream Processing using Apache Storm and StormCV. Developed proof of concept cloud based system for real-time image processing to gain understanding of infrastructure requirements and ability to scale to production.

Activities focused on many diverse areas centered around innovations to support enhancement and expansion of Xerox's core competency in printing and document management. Areas of work included:- Device Utilization, Remaining Useful Life, Service Level Agreement Modeling. Focused on gathering and managing 12 Terabytes of device level data, developing analytics to model and predict both device and consumable usage. Processes helped identify and remove under-utilized devices as well as, enable movement towards Just In Time delivery of supplies and significant cost savings for Xerox.- SmartSend, Scan Service Architecture. Led activity coordinating internal product delivery teams resulting in the creation and delivery of a network scanning interface based on their requirements. Led Xerox efforts with standards bodies (Printer Working Group and Microsoft UPnP) to have Xerox scanning workflow adopted. Developed prototypes focused on metadata extraction and workflow automation.- Lean Document Production, Digital Mailroom. Worked with Xerox clients to implement LDP/Lean Six Sigma production models. Extended LDP concepts to mailroom and developed prototypes for incoming mail digitization and distribution.

Led software architecture activities for Xerox mid-volume device family. Primary area of focus was developing requirements, specifications and implementation of interfaces between primary system components. Work culminated in the successful launch of the Xerox Document Centre 255 family of products.

Technical leadership roles in software architecture and development of components to support market probe devices created to gain an understanding of the emerging multifunction device market.

Created custom software applications to support program teams. Worked primarily on XDE (Xerox Development Environment) and Viewpoint (an early commercial WSIWIG office document processing system). Both system were developed using PARC technology and programmed in the MESA language.

CMS2L Compiler Maintenance. Focused on debugging and enhancing all areas of the compiler from lexical analysis to optimization. Preformed both remote and onsite customer support work.
