Founding member of Deloitte team that conceptualized, built and deployed the analytics software SEMOSS, an open-source analytics platform that a) combines data sets to create holistic views, b) runs views through custom machine learning algorithms and c) displays results in intuitive, dynamic charts that drive actions- Led software development team of fifteen across US and India through visioning and building SEMOSS, winning Deloitte’s Innovation Award (2013) for most innovative project within Deloitte’s Military Health account- Brought data-driven decision making to US Military Health Systems by designing and embedding IT portfolio rationalization tools within SEMOSS to inform decommissioning decisions, resulting in ~$54M annual savings- Spearheaded with a team of three engineers the building of a Deloitte billing solution integrated with SEMOSS which eliminated need for manual data crunching and reduced bill calculation times from months to hours - Generated new business by presenting tailored product demonstrations of SEMOSS to top new business leads
