The project taking most of my time since joining Sequent was a national debit card project in the Middle east. I initially produced reports for the client detailing the requirements for a national Tokenization Hub to support Visa, Mastercard, the national debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Although we initially resisted changing POS terminal settings we identified that the best UX for non-card transactions (mobile, wearables, IOT) was one where contact transactions were not required to validate the customer. We implemented a new model where low-value transactions of any form-factor did not require CVM unless certain limits were exceeded but enabling CVM for higher-value transactions or suspect transactions.We also identified a unique mechanism for deploying multiple tokenized credentials (AID, PAN etc) into a single token for deployment in mobile wallets.The client decided to launch their own digital wallet accepting cards from all their issuers and I lead the initial design process.

Directly responsible for requirements gathering, customer journey maps, use case stories, workshops management, product T&Cs authorization, contract schedules development, and data mappings documentation.• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to develop technical solutions and manage specification changes to avoid potential risks.• Facilitate supplier workshops to ensure data feed integrity and compatibility for transfers such as card production files, Sanctions, KYC, Financial Reconciliation, Complaints and payment gateway data.• Update and innovate onsite account applications, onsite customer service, auto top-ups, mass training of merchants and new concepts such as balance checkers.• Support 2013 PayBand event ticketing through extensive analysis activity to support increased customer service and ops cooperation with event management teams.• Integrate requirements and schedules for Visa/MasterCard, FIME, Oberthur/Gemalto personalisation and card processor (FIS/Barclaycard) into the product design and delivery plan while ensuring compliance.• Incorporate MiFare, DESFire EV1 and proprietary data into the MCHIP/VSDC chip design for NFC/contactless Access Management and Entitlements tracking.• Coordinated with FIME and TfL for UAT, compatibility testing and certification.• Risk analysis of online vs offline chip and product limits and scheme transit models.• Identify initial fraud activity and mechanisms for reporting, inhibiting and preventing bPay fraud.• Utilize Business Intelligence tools to create queries that provide analysis and simple dashboard views to support Fraud Ops and Customer Service.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:• Deliver the Barclaycard PayBand in only 15 weeks ensuring successful deployment at the Barclaycard Wireless Festival. http://ow.ly/1Oaor6
