I initially produced reports for the client detailing the requirements for a national Tokenization Hub to support Visa, Mastercard, the national debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Although we initially resisted changing POS terminal settings we identified that the best UX for non-card transactions (mobile, wearables, IOT) was one where contact transactions were not required to validate the customer. We implemented a new model where low-value transactions of any form-factor did not require CVM unless certain limits were exceeded but enabling CVM for higher-value transactions or suspect transactions.We also identified a unique mechanism for deploying multiple tokenized credentials (AID, PAN etc) into a single token for deployment in mobile wallets.The client decided to launch their own digital wallet accepting cards from all their issuers and I lead the initial design process. -
