Starting back in the DARPA/ARPANet days- 1970's Military thru 1980's X.25 Networks thru 1990's IBM Mainframes & the last decade building IPTV systems for Tier 2 Telco's in North America.Previously working to build the next generation Network & Video Architecture to enable the true transformation of yesterdays telcos into the information service providers of the future.. Previously on the the New Technologies Team, consisting of subject matter experts in specific disciplines. Bill's role is focused in three primary areas, Video Products, Network Access and Distribution Technologies, and Next Generation Network Architecture. Over the past several years, Bill has had a lead role in developing a Frontier branded video product and successfully demonstrated a lab instance and implementation of Microsoft Mediaroom (AT&T's U-Verse Platform) for proof of concept purposes. Bill is a participating member of the Telco Broadband & Video Forums and has led many efforts in the evaluation of up-and-coming Over-The-Top Video solutions for possible deployment in the Tier 2&3 Telcos nationwide. Currently working with the Advanced Analytics Data Analysis Group to analize, implement and ensure adherence to network deployment technology architecture policies.Bill worked with a pioneering network architecture integration group that developed IPTV as you know it today. Bill's experience in the industry includes many successful deployments of IPTV and Cable, to include MTA's (Alaska) DTV IPTV Product and Surewest Communications IPTV deployment.
