I started my piping career working as a pipefitter’s helper and as a pipefitter before becoming a pipe designer. I have 26 years working as a pipe designer which includes experience in the design and layout of piping and equipment. I can create 3D models, 2D plot and plan drawings, section views, detailed drawings. I can also generate piping isometrics, create pipe supports and develop and draft P&ID’s.I spent 4 years active and 16 years reserves in the U.S. Navy as a “Steelworker” with the Construction Battalion (Seabee’s).The types of projects I have worked on include: compressor, pump and meter stations, truck loading and storage facilities, petro-chemical, refineries, pipelines, and skid packages. I have a current TWIC card and am experienced in performing walk-downs and various types of field work.My cad software skills include AutoCAD, Cadworx, Microstation and I have been trained and have on the job experience using Aveva PDMS. I am also experienced with Microsoft word and Excel.
