I lead God-exalting, Christ-magnifying media ministries at Sunlight Community Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The media staff I lead includes an outstanding video editor and a full-time print and Web designer. I also bring leadership, vision and direction to the Sunday morning worship and tech teams. These teams are comprised of over 20 very talented individuals who dedicate many hours of their free time to making His praise glorious! I created and implemented an integrated marketing strategy that helped what began as a grassroots movement become a well established part of the Bluefield community. By creating professional Websites, brochures and promotional DVD's, I helped Wade gain credibility with grantors and community leaders. Six years later, Wade's promotional strategy has evolved to include savvy use of social media, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and eblasts.The Wade Center is a nonprofit organization that provides much needed educational and social services to children and youth in the Bluefield community. Wade also ministers to the community's spiritual needs through a modern worship service that features understandable teaching and relevant musical styles. I served as the worship director for six years -- not only leading worship musically but also serving as the service programming director.

I worked with Russell T. Jones, a psychology professor who is pioneering the effective treatment of children who suffer from PTSD following house fires. I co-authored an article for a peer-reviewed journal during my semester under his leadership. His work is funded by FEMA grants, and he is a respected leader in his field, often being asked to speak in areas of his expertise.

I served as newscast producer, general assignment reporter, medical reporter, feature reporter, fill-in anchor and videographer. Also, I worked as an editor, studio camera operator and master control operator between October 1996 and July 1997. During the summers of my college years, I also interned in the news, sports and promotional departments.
