• Responsible for the placement of AIG's facultative reinsurance in the UK and rest of Europe• Manage facultative reinsurance placements across all lines but with a focus on Cyber and Financial Lines (D&O, PI, Crime)• Review all underwriting information and send requests out to relevant markets• Collaborate with underwriters, external reinsurers and brokers to place and administer facultative reinsurance placements• Develop and foster solid relationships with underwriters, brokers and reinsurers across regions• Direct a wide range of placements for large global clients• Ensuring compliance with local regulations, corporate entity guidelines and risk appetites on aglobal scale in order to preserve best practice and general business compliance procedures• Confirm accurate capture of contractual terms and conditions upon inception, endorsement and renewal

• Booking Facultative and Treaty Outwards Reinsurance over a wide range of sectors, meeting audit requirements – New Business, Renewals and premium adjustments• Working with all lines of business but with most exposure to Financial Lines, Cyber and Property• Ensuring treaty limits are written correctly• Working with the claims team to ensure correct premiums have been paid to each reinsurer• Working with Underwriters and the Placement team to ensure premiums, limits, signed lines and commissions are correct• Dealing with account queries from Underwriters and Profit Centres• Managing time and workload for successful month and quarter end deadlines ensuring accuracy• Analysing data and creating monthly statistical reports• Quality checking work from other offices requiring great attention to detail

• Using the Claims Underwriting Exchange database to investigate fraudulent activity by policyholders• Processing additional premiums if undisclosed claims or convictions are found• Working closely with Underwriters to agree relevant actions on fraudulent policies such as cancelling or voiding policies• Achieving a set target of 400 minutes work per day and achieving this consistently over a whole month to meet company requirements• Maintaining a high standard of work to pass monthly audit tests
