Now that you have seen my educational and employment/income history, I feel I must emphasis my goal in life.My vision starts with automating the world. Fully automating everything. When I first learned of computers I was told they are good for repetitive tasks-it was a programming course and we started with loops. As soon as I heard that I imagined everything being a repetitive task. EVEYTHING. Building a radio, a house, a street, even a whole city, are all repetitive activities.It is a CAD/CAM programmer’s ecstasy. Today CAD/CAM programmers have drawn 3-D printers that can build a house. The possibilities are only limited by the finite world.What are people going to do if they don’t have to spend their 40 best hours a week at work. I contend that with automation providing everything, costs will be minimized at first and later irrelevant.People will be provided with educational opportunities to their heart and minds content. We are gradually moving that way with online education.Also we have the opportunity to keep our bodies in shape. This (along with not working) will also reduce medical costs. The sports world is already rife with opportunities for team or individual interests.Finally, in my utopia, are the artistic endeavors of humankind. This is an area for humankind to relish. It provides an unlimited outlet and appreciative aspect for humanity to explore.All of this leads to the soul of mankind. Given the studies of Eastern philosophies and Sergei Maslov’s hierarchy of needs, mankind will naturally seek self actualization. The gratification which comes from self actualization will manifest itself into spiritual enlightenment.
