    My prime objective at the Morton Group was to set advertising targets for 7 weekly Northern Ireland newspaper titles and co-ordinate staff to successfully achieve the necessary results. Having successfully spotted an overseas 'gap in the market' I opened up an office in London, (a new venture for any Northern Ireland newspaper group), which resulted in an increased Average Group profit of 25% year on year success. I left Morton Newspapers in 1978, having successfully helped to make it the most profitable year in the Company's history, to start my own Printing Company, Austin Graphics.
