My name is William Berry and I am an experienced worker in the field of digital media and instructional design. I studied and worked at the University of Western Ontario, starting as a part-time Digital Media Designer in 2020 where I assisted in the training and creation of online course content for professors at Western and other clients, before working my way up to being a Digital Media Specialist in 2021, which saw me hone my prioritization of work and organizational skills by leading a variety of projects utilizing a diverse range of tasks involving LMS work and multimedia. Whether I was filmmaking with clients, or creating in-depth design work across a variety of programming (HTML, CSS) and editing software/graphic design programs (Adobe suite, Canva, Microsoft Office), my work saw me lead a group of employees while utilizing my technical prowess and knowledge of Western’s LMS to outstanding results.My experience working on and later managing multiple projects has strengthened my leadership capabilities and has made me a resilient worker who is capable of handling any client relations (including one-on-one training sessions) as well as resolving any problems that might arise while overseeing work. Due to my experience in leading and completing projects that require many different skills (filming, editing, graphic design, online content creation), I have strengthened my multi-tasking and time-management skills to ensure I never waste a moment which can be dedicated to completing a task, or learning new skills. My previous employments have helped me grow into being a more technically savvy and confident worker, never shying away from a challenging task or asking questions, assisting and encouraging my colleagues at any available opportunity, and staying on top of the latest technological developments.
