Primary Duties:Supervise day-to-day activities for all personnel, facilities, and operations related business. Responsible for regulatory, health and safety compliance at all three facilities. The Manager of Global Materials Management will oversee a team of inventory supervisors and coordinators responsible for effective execution of all activities involving inventory management. This role is responsible for the management of: • Storage of Materials• Reconciling Materials (including adjustments, auditing, monthly physical counts, ensuring accuracy of inventory systems whether manual, online or both)• Disposal of Surplus Materials• Measure, Track & Monitor all KPI’s • Management of Multiple Warehouses• Inventory Policy & Procedures• Collaborate with business operations and strategic sourcing on disposition of surplus and obsolete inventory.• Review and manage inventory rotations to ensure obsolete product is kept to a minimum.• Develop and maintain a well-trained and highly motivated staff capable of performing required functions and playing key role in meeting corporate and business unit objectives and following corporate policy.• Arrange, schedule and conduct regular or on-the-job training incorporating materials management plans, policies, procedures and effective material management systems utilization.• Ensure collaboration between inventory supervisors, coordinators and business operations is fully functional, following policy and meeting business operations requirements.• Coordinate for proper quality controls and approvals with business operations.• Management of teams preparing, scheduling and conducting regular inventory analysis and physical counts.• Continually improve inventory management processes.• Collaborate with business operations and strategic sourcing to maintain inventory levels are consistent with efficient support of business activities and purchasing economics.• Collaborate with Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance to monitor inventory costs.• Works with strategic sourcing and operations on toll blending.
