Took over administrative duties in the maintenance department. Responsible for maintaining our CMMS program which housed all of our daily, weekly, and monthly PM's abd our parts inventory. Took over supplying our staff with safety supplies and always ensuring there was the proper items on hand. Was involved in minor fabrication of machine parts made in house. Performed minor electrical work. Capable of welding with either Mig or Stick, using cutting torches, and grinding.

Responsible for the safety and well being for the 7 employees in my department on either a day shift or night shift (both shifts 6-6). Oversaw the production of product by the operator at that time. Responsible for oversight on all equipment in the main plant or the Tumbling department if we were running that machinery. Cross training was key in efficient production in either department. Ended up performing a lot of the required maintenance and PM's due to either a lack of maintenence personnel or employees not being available.

Quickly showed I was ready for experience on the equipment. less than 3 months in I was running the machine that produces the concrete pavers and retaining wall blocks. Responsible for hourly QC checks and documentation. Troubleshooting problems with the running equipment. Monitoring raw material quality roughly every half hour via sieve tests. Also responsible for basic machine maintenance (greasing all points, daily PM checklists)

I also worked here every summer during high school from June until September. Began here by just doing general labor during the summers in high school. When I went full time I was manufacturing the different traffic paints. Having to follow recipes and procedures for each different type I learned that different ingredients have different reactions at different times in the batch timing.That information has helped me with the different types of recipes we have for the concrete stones at my current job.
