Current* Android ODM/JDM/EMS projects design management and lead 20+ developers for BSP works. - Product requirement review and make sure the development scope - UI specification design review and make sure the I/F between SW components - Design software architecture review and make sure the role of each SW component for each requirement - Schematic and component review to make sure the low-level driver could work well in the hardware boards - Review the software architecture for each SW component - Developer’s test plan review in the beginning of software design phase - Reviewer in code review process - Panning to setup specific services to enhance the software development process, like as Gitlab, Jenkins, Gerrit and Mantis - Support the failure analysis, Yield rate improvement, UPH improvement at production line - Progress management, Weekly progress report* Directly manage 5 ~ 10 engineers for BSP works - Focusing and guiding in accomplishing work objective - Coaching of junior teammates* The contact window for platform vendor, such as Qualcomm, NXP, Allwinner - SoC roadmap research - Software codebase setup for project kick-off - Technical issues tracking and highlight* The component owner in specific Android products, such as Booting, System, Power, Display, Touch and Camera - Contact the chip vendor to review the detail specification - Develop and maintain the device drivers - Define sanity test plan, it includes function, performance and stability - Implement the new software features to meet product’s requirement * MCU firmware development owner for PEGA prototype project - Worked on ST/Atmel MCU to meet the product requirement* RFQ Review for PEGA Android ODM/OEM/EMS product
