Global Product Director reporting directly to Hitwise Global MD. I was responsible for the Custom Research and Data Solutions business with teams of analysts and engineers in UK, USA and AU. Tasked with growing billings three-fold over 4 to 5 years, I led initiatives to deliver operational and process improvements, a clearer go-to-market strategy and the development of new products and propositions.Essential to delivering on these plans was;1 - Significant adjustment to the sales process so that the business had a clear view of the sales and delivery pipeline, the product mix being proposed to clients, client business case and proposed solution.2 - Accurately measuring profitability across the product set and developing plans to retire or drastically improve the efficiency of delivering low margin products.3 - Increasing the pace at which engineering and analyst teams delivered work via self-service tooling for high volume requests, better direct access to data for analyst teams, and the development of new software that resulted in high frequency investigations being answerable within minutes rather than days.4 - The creation of stronger product collateral and improving awareness and knowledge of possible services amongst clients and sales teams across markets.5 - Developing new products and services that differentiated the offer through a focus ondeeply granular, high frequency data sets in an increasingly crowded and commoditised market.6 - Delivering a long term strategy for the group with a focus on predictive analytics, the application of artificial intelligence and the development of market leading insight propositions that would automatically inform programmatic advertising execution.Beyond my core responsibilities, I remained heavily involved in business development and solution delivery across major clients in the UK, US and Australia. I was also a member of the UK management team alongside my position in the global product leadership group.
