Highlighted Projects:(1) State Farm Insurance• Performed an independent review and structural inspection to determine the extent of the damages caused the fallen tree at a residence.• Prepared a letter to address and evaluate the issues relevant to the claim.(2) Torrance Refining Company• Evaluated the existing Coker Support Structure due to a valve replacement.• Prepared the final report based on the client’s specified procedure.• Generated a Macro-enabled Excel spreadsheet for risk assessment analysis.(3) Bebco Shelters• Analyzed various cold form steel shelters throughout the country.• Verified shelters design for lifting, service, and environmental loads, such as seismic and wind load.(4) Peach Bottom Buried Pipe Evaluation• Evaluated the buried pipes for temporary conditions during excavation.• AutoPipe models were created for each pipe for benchmarking and analysis.• The piping systems are evaluated for design basis loads and allowables• The affected supports are identified and evaluated for any observed increase loading.(5) NRG Inspection at Long Beach, Walnut Creek, El Segundo and Carlsbad• Performed a thorough structural visual inspection of various power plant to ensure that building, working and walking surface, and equipment infrastructure does not pose a safety risk to personnel.• Prepared the inspection report and provided recommendations for identified safety risks or design issues.(6) BETA Offshore Platform Topside Inspection for Elly, Ellen and Eureka Platforms• Performed inspection of corroded structural elements found from prior years existing conditions.• Inspected the topsides of the platforms for any additional severely corroded structural elements.• Prepared the inspection report and provided recommendations addressing the structural deficiencies.
