Billy joined SSE in 2011 bringing military experience and Program Management experience gained from 33+ years supporting Government Contracts at the Boeing Company.Prior to joining SSE, Billy was the Boeing Manager of Instructional System Design for the Navy’s P-8A Anti-Submarine Aircraft. Other responsibilities at Boeing included Program Management of F/A-18 and EA/18G Courseware, Management of Kit/Modification Programs, Retrofit Management, Repair Program Management, Spares Management and Quality Management. These assignments involved support of United States Air Force Aircraft such as the F-15 and United States Navy/Marine Corps Aircraft such as A-12, AV-8B, EA-18G, F-15, F/A-18, P-8A, and T-45 plus International customers such as Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Spain, and Switzerland.Prior to Boeing, Billy served active duty in the United States Marine Corps and Army where he was an Infantry Company Commander, Helicopter Pilot, Flight Instructor, Adjutant, Maintenance Officer, and Supply Officer. He served two tours in Viet Nam.Billy attended College of the Ozarks 1965-67 and has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies from Embry-Riddle University earned in 1976.
