Information Technology and computer support for Police, Fire and Ems in the City of Bartlett as well several other departments within the city. I support and maintain all PCs, in-car/body cameras, license plate readers (LPRs) and other hardware related to public safety along with all supporting software. CAD (Computer Aided Dispatching), RMS (Records Management), Jail Management software and Court. I also manage all cellular/data devices within the city.

I supervised a shift of 5-6 telecommunications officers who are also dual purpose trained as jail staff. I handled scheduling for all shifts (18 dispatchers) and other administrative duties as well. We had 3 shifts, for a total of 18 telecommunicators. Each shift was comprised of shift personnel and one supervisor. I updated and maintained all things relating to the operation of our Computer Aided Dispatching System (CAD). This included updating and maintaining the CAD street index file, fire run orders, police districting and response order, the CAD business index, incident type index,GIS and mapping (in conjunction with Engineering), the addition of new subdivisions into CAD, and the flagging of addresses for both medical and officer safety related issues. I also handled new user and user maintenance for the Vesta 911 system that we utilize. I was also the Terminal Agency Coordinator for the Police Department. Those duties include but are not limited to, monthly validation of all records that we have entered into NCIC, NCIC testing and recertification of employees (which now number close to 100 operators after query certifying most of our commissioned officers), ensuring that we comply with all CJIS and FBI security policies and TBI compliance issues and many other duties. I served on the Ties Software and Technical committee which makes direct recommendations to the NCIC/TIES software vendors that service all law enforcement agencies in Tennessee.
