I worked as an architect alongside with my team members on delivering projects within targeted time frame. I had been involved in the design and documentation of various public facilities and recreational building redevelopment projects in NZ and overseas. Between Year 2012-14 I was heavily involved in managing projects for the Department of Corrections at a number of different prison and community correction sites throughout NZ.I am skillful in administrating contract during the tender and construction stages, and liaising with clients, consultants, local district councils, project managers and contractors on architectural projects.

I was seconded to the Ministry of Education at Christchurch to work on an earthquake recovery project which had a portfolio of 217 schools suffered varies degree of damages since September 2010. My role as one of the four Case Managers on this project was to assist the Ministry’s School Property Infrastructure Group to rebuild schools around the greater Christchurch area which had damaged by earthquakes and aftershocks. In this particular role, we worked closely with the local authorities and schools in delivering the support the community needs. There were over 20 project managers from 7 consultancy companies that report to us as well as a group of specialist engineers, quantities surveyors and planners.

Both Synchro and Easy Fashion Limited were family businesses – Synchro Limited was a small boutique chain with two shops at central Auckland, and Easy Fashion Limited was a medium-sized clothing manufacturing factory with 30-40 workers. My role was to maintain the operation of the company and monitor the business financial accounts on a weekly basis. I had worked part-time for these companies for 9 years, which closed in 2007.
