In my current role as Business Unit Manager with Defense Maritime Solutions, Inc. my area of responsibilities include being responsible for all of the Submarine Service quotations, estimating and proposal writing functions, Quality, Weld Engineering Group, and Report Analysis Division. I directly liaison with high ranking Naval officials and Shipyard Executives to include USPACOM, NSWC, NAVSUP, NAVSEA, DLA, DCMA, USCG, BAE, NASSCO, Austal, and HII. I am the subject matter expert (SME) for all propeller and propulsor related technical processes and applications, supporting the Technical Project Manager for Pre-prototype Propulsor components for the Columbia Class Submarines. I have an active government security clearance that has been maintained since 2005. In this role I am responsible for business development efforts to build and maintain revenue for Operations direct labor force. Making a presence at trade shows such as International Workboat Show, SNA Symposium, and other marine and defense related expos.
