Part of the dotcom team at Tesco. Picking and sorting out customers orders to the highest standards.

This internship was for 12-weeks over the summer of 2019. There were two main parts to this internship, the first was working on several projects with the Economic Development Team, while the second was a project, with ten other Interns to create a new website. Across the 12-weeks, there were many training opportunities, including project management and employability skills. Highlights of the scheme include taking part in a mock cabinet, working on meaningful projects and being able to present our work to other interns.

This job involved, replenishing shelves and helping out customers. Making sure the store is stocked-up for customers and the storerooms are tidy. Working at Sainsbury's developed my communication skills, since I was working with colleagues and managers and talking to customers. While team-work was vital to providing the services customers expect. During the busy Christmas period, I developed time management skills and adaptability.
