My goal is to continue to build and develop my community relations, while producing the highest level of events for my community to enjoy. I aspire to build a strong philanthropic organization that has the ability to impact my community at many levels. My passions in outdoor recreation manifest themselves in my desires to produce recreation based events. These events are designed to both challenge an individual's abilities as well as promote fun while recreating. Through event management I have learned great lessons in fundraising and public relations. This goes from sponsor relations to working with local news papers and publications to both promote an event as well as follow up with an event. The juggling act that comes along with event management is a tricky skill that I have come to enjoy. Leading up to an event, there are several components that are working independently from one and other. Watching and orchestrating these components together is a very rewarding and pleasuring experience.
