About Billy Mcneil
I have worked in the Oil and Gas Sector for 25years, starting with Expro North Sea Ltd offering Well Test Engineering Support and also offshore data aquisition work. After 5 years I moved to Axis Well Technology working in completion design and offshore supervision as well as DST/well test operations providing onshore support and offshore supervision for a number of operators in the North Sea. I moved to Total in 2006 as a contractor, working on various subsea developments in both completions and DST/welltest operations - designing the wells, writing programmes and providing offshore supervision. I was also part of the HPHT team from 2012-2017, involved in numerous well abandonments, infill well completions and West Franklin HPHT completions the highest pressure and temperature wells in the UK north sea. I also planned numerous HPHT DST/well test operations. In 2017 I moved to the Culzean HPHT project where I was part of the team that successfully delivered the project - including onshore and offshore work. Since 2019 I have been working with Barra Energy providing support for numerous clients.
