- Apply sound engineering knowledge in improving of supplier capability and quality to ensure meeting of material specifications.- Driver in material improvement and meeting stakeholders’ satisfaction.- Focal point in supplier interface to resolve material issues.- Managing non-conforming material inventory disposition and optimization.- Allocate resources and projects to optimize even loading of personnel, chambers / equipment and engineering resources to aid SQA activities.- Identify and establish systems and methods to improve performance of material PPM.- Provide assistance and advice to engineering team in material problem resolution and help to establish system to prevent recurrence.- Identify training requirements and establish training programs to SQE technical and administrative personnel.- Identify and recommend equipment or automate system to increase SQE technical capability.- Lead low amount chargeback negotiation (<$10K) with suppliers.
