Iraq

Provides classroom and hands on performance oriented instruction on individual and collective maintenance tasks to the Advanced Maintenance Trainer for Iraqi Army’s Electrical Mechanical Engineering School (EME). Advise, train, and assist the Iraqi Army (IA) Advanced Maintenance Trainers at the EME School selected to train Iraqi Army maintenance personnel within all IA Divisions on automotive, electrical, hydraulic, power train, suspension, body, mechanical, diagnostics procedures as well as new technical materials, methods, and techniques. Develop tests, visual aids and conduct developmental research, Coordinate class arrangements, conduct training classes, and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Develop, implement and operate training programs, practices, and procedures for developing optimal utilization of operator, organizational, direct and general support level maintenance for, wheeled and track vehicle platforms to include: Oshkosh 7 ton MTVR MK23, M113A2 Armored Personnel Carrier.

Iraq

Coach, teach, and mentor the Iraqi Army (IA) maintenance personnel within the IA Divisions, Level II Field Work Shop to identify deficiencies, perform correct maintenance procedures, improve their overall maintenance management programs, operational readiness, develop performance measurements, and develop their units’ capabilities to resolve materiel-readiness problems. Use maintenance assessments to coach, teach, and mentor the IA maintenance unit leadership to analyze readiness, identify problems, and determine responsibility for resolving problems. Assist IA maintenance units with maintenance instruction and improvement of performance measurement.

Fort Lee, Virginia

Instructor for Ordnance Army Leadership Course (ALC) students; instruct NCO’s in electrical and mechanical functions of Light, Medium and Heavy mobile tactical vehicles, using Knowledge Skills, and Ability, Lesson Plans, Wiring Schematics, and the latest computerized software in a classroom and hands-on environment. Responsible for facilitating functional and technical training requirements for, The Army School System (TASS) in support of the ALU missions needs. Coordinate with material developers, combat developers, training developers, and civilian agencies on development of training and training products.
