With 30+ years’ experience with a focus on the technology industry, Billy was recognized as a KPMG Southeastern Technology Leader and served as a member of KPMG's National Technology Industry Leadership Team.- Served as lead audit partner, client executive partner, and/or industry partner for public and private companies, ranging from Fortune 1000 companies to emerging private companies. - As part of his commitment to excellent client service, he provided deep technical and business guidance, which includes extensive experience with revenue recognition accounting and business models, controls and process, SEC filings, stock compensation, financing and, mergers and acquisitions. - In addition to serving public companies, Billy worked with Private Equity and Venture Capital growth companies, assisting them through their development and establishment of policies and practices in areas such as initial public offerings, business combinations and revenue recognition. Billy has completed seven IPOs.- Served on several Board of Directors primarily focused on the Technology Industry including the Technology Association of Georgia.
