I am a senior finance major at Miami University Farmer School of Business currently continuing work as a financial intern for MRP Capital Group. As a student in the Farmer School of Business, the courses I've taken have helped me develop proficiency in SQL, Excel, Word, and JMP. These courses have shown me what it means to work in groups and have instilled skills such as communication, time management, and critical thinking. I am also a part of the Miami Finance Club on campus where I've gotten the opportunity to network and hear from other business majors on campus. In addition, I am also involved in the MU Upsilon chapter of Phi Gamma Delta as the mental health chair.Over the past couple years I have worked at Imo's Pizza in St. Louis, where I was recently promoted to assistant manager. As an assistant manager some of my responsibilities included working with customers to fulfill orders, delegate tasks to other employees at the store, and to close down the store at the end of a shift. Working there has helped teach me what it means to be in a leadership role and to work and get along with both customers and employees. This past semester I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. This was one of the best experiences of my entire life as I had the chance to travel across Europe and explore different cultures. I learned a lot during my time abroad, mainly the importance of being adaptable as there were many new experiences during my time abroad. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball at the recreational center and watching movies. Miami University has provided me with many tools to develop my professional career and I look forward for the opportunity to continue expanding my knowledge and experience.
