Project management includes the following duties: design oversight, budget monitoring, change management, task definition, client management, and proposal development. Representative projects are described below.Louisville MSD -- Logan Street CSO Conveyance and Basin Design ProjectLead the design team defining and managing the preliminary and final design of a large CSO storage basin and conveyance project which includes: 17MG CSO basin, over 10,000 L.F. of conveyance sewers, and a 12,000 gpm pump station. The project serves 12 CSOs along a two-mile stretch of Beargrass Creek. The two-acre concrete storage basin is gravity in/pump out to minimize pump costs and to ensure functionality during power failure. Through a detailed analysis of the basis of design, changes have been made to save the client over $14 million to date. Louisville Water Company -- Crescent Hill Water Treatment Plant Softening Basins RehabilitationPerformed and managed the design and development of construction drawings, specifications, construction estimates, and schedules for the multi-phase rehabilitation of the 240 MGD softening basin plant. Metropolitan Sewer District, Floyds Fork Wastewater Treatment Plant Action Plan Update; Provided geospatial analysis to the engineering team to assist in the development of the potential future service areas and associated interceptor locations.Prepared contracts, managed invoices, created GIS maps, and maintained construction controls for the Floyds Fork North County Area Team. Also assisted in the design of the following projects as part of this agreement:Tucker Station Interceptor and Force Main Larkgrove Emergency Wastewater Treatment Plant Bypass Force MainPerformed collection, re-projection, analysis, customization, and maintenance of the spatial data for this $14 million study. Managed and directed field teams gathering field data as well as the individuals entering the data into the GIS. This project operated in both ArcView and ArcGIS.City of Hialeah, Hialeah Concurrency Management System Update; Analyzed the City's comprehensive plan and applied the plan through the use of custom ArcView applications. Completed the design and layout of a 40-acre retail development that included a Wal-Mart, and a Lowe's. Responsibilities included designing a 600,000 CY fill to lift the development out of the 100-year floodplain; layout of the water lines, storm sewer lines, sanitary sewer lines, and fire protection; design of seven-acre-feet detention basin, and more than 2000 parking spaces for the primary tenants.
