- Developer for a suite of front-end, back-end Maskhouse manufacturing applications in a DOD Trusted Foundry secure environment using Java/JEE, Groovy, JBoss, REST, Spring Boot, AWS SQS, DB2, Oracle, MongoDB, Agile, JUnit, Jira.- Gathered and refined business requirements and determined the best design for implementing requirements. Worked with business analysts and project managers on schedules and deliverables.- Implemented major automation enhancements to the PRTS system. Added event driven processing to consume AWS SQS events via a custom workflow manager. Successfully integrated system with OData and FTRF/salesforce.com application using Java, JBOSS, Spring Boot, AWS-SQS, DB2, Oracle.- Identified the need for a workflow manager, and took the initiative to design and develop one to support automation. It consumes AWS SQS events and calls 1:M REST services to process them. Because of its flexibility and intuitive configuration it was leveraged by other groups saving months of development effort. Enabled one to easily add/remove event consumers, and supported retry/restart of event processing. - Designed and developed both the front end and back-end layers for the ReleaseTracker application. Front-end is Reactjs and back-end is REST service. To improve response time I implement Caching within the REST service. - Accustomed to working remote and with remote international teams.- Key resource in the migration and porting of systems from IBM to GlobalFoundries. Successfully implemented a proof of concept development environment, ported PRTS application from Websphere to JBoss coordinating with security and DBA’s, and updated source management and build process from CVS, and Ant to git and Maven. - Mentor to other Java developers.

- Lead developer of PRTS application. Both front-end, back-end, Utilizing Java/JEE. Websphere, DB2, Oracle, Struts, REST, SOAP, JSP, JSON, javascript. PRTS records/tracks the various entities (chips, wafers and designs/layers) built to fulfill a customer's order.- Using Agile, I coordinated with Business Analysts and Chip Engineers to define business requirements, turn those requirements into technical requirements, and planned/implemented the software solution. - Successfully implemented major enhancement that enabled the auto importing of FMS form data into PRTS. Project had been on and off for over a year prior to me joining the team. To initiate project start, I suggested a prototype be developed following Agile. It was a success with each release providing more functionality and was the catalyst for other automation projects. - Improved code base by adding automated JUnit testing, introduced the use of RESTFul services instead of SOAP services, refactoring the DAO layer to support transactions, added javascript/Dojo to make GUI more interactive.- Sole JEE developer on eTracker web application that tracks the results of Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) and Optical Rule Check (ORC) processing. Utilizing Websphere, Struts, DB2, SOAP, JSP. - Successfully, designed and implemented a major enhancement that enabled chip engineers to perform issue tracking and collaborate and solve OPC/ORC processing issues using discussion threads - similar to forums. Engineers could upload OPC/ORC processing images, add comments, assign priority, assign status, invite/assign others to provide input. Prior to this email was used which led to confusion. - Mentored developers in Web technologies, and DB design.

- 03/2009 - 10/2009 - Client Bank of America Integration with Countrywide Financial Services, Charlotte, NC. Large project of 60 developers and 4 work streams. Using Websphere, Java and Struts, coded and tested front-end/JSP pages and back-end/Struts action classes related to Pre-qualification and Leads form submission. - 01/2008 - 02/2009 - Sprint Automated Customer Care Project, Atlanta, GA. Developed IVR applications in Java to support automating of customer care. Successfully delivered 3 releases under extreme time constraints and ever changing business requirements. Quickly learned VXML, the voice infrastructure and associated technologies. Overseeing SDLC, delivery of release components, mentored other developers in JEE/Java, VXML, coordinating builds and deployment to Websphere Portal server. - 06/2006 - 12/2007 - National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) eTravel project, Huntsville, AL. Integrated various internal and external systems with NASA's eTravel web application using NASA's Enterprise Service Bus(ESB). Designed and developed ESB Binding Components(BC) and Service Engines(SE). Coordinated with internal and external groups to define Web Service Interfaces, and perform system integration testing. - 11/2005 - 04/2006 - TIAA CREF Stream Line Secure Access project, Charlotte, NC. Developed and tested major enhancements to their JEE financial services application. Organized and conducted code reviews. Technologies used in the solution: Struts, Tiles, JSP’s, XML, JAXB and SOAP Web Services.

- 04/2005 - 11/2005 - Solutions-Bell South, Atlanta GA. Designed/Developed Mileage and Address Location Tool (MALT) used for rate quoting and marketing. Authored various documents, coordinated with BellSouth Technology and business groups on sign-off. Technologies used in the solution: JSP’s, Servlets, EJB’s, CORBA, SOAP Web Services, BEA Weblogic. and Oracle. Application was implemented successfully under time constraints. Received a letter of appreciation from BellSouth Technology and business units.- 07/2004 - 03/2005 - Cingular, Atlanta GA. Under extreme time constraints, and minimal requirements successfully designed, and implemented Java/Oracle migration applications to migrate Cingular Trunk Group data, and Optical Ring data for the South-East, Mid-West and North-East to the Granite system. Created utility classes that were leveraged by other developers. Developed integration modules that integrate with Savvion Business Process software, conducted requirement gathering meetings, authored design documents and coordinated with Business Process Analysts to ensure requirements were met. Technologies used in the solution: Oracle 9i, JDBC, JUnit, Log4j and Java.

- Migrated a B2B, B2C Web Application from Netdynamics to Websphere using Servlets, JSP’s, EJB’s and other JEE API's. - Developed a Java payment settlement application that interfaced with Atlanta based CheckFree. The interface was multi-threaded, utilizing sockets and XML to communicate with CheckFree’s API. - Developed a custom API for Dell Computer that enabled the use of existing payment authorization services. - Developed ACH process that sends check transactions to ACH processor Intel-A-Check. Solution utilizes a Java application, Unix Scripts, PGP, and FTP. - Architect/Developer on Consumer Disclosure web application that uses Struts, EJB’s and Oracle. Application provides disclosures to consumers on why their check was declined. - Architect/Developer on IP based Point of Sale Gateway application that enables small businesses to use broadband connection instead of dial up connection to authorize POS transactions. - Designed/Implemented multi-threaded Java application that monitors critical revenue generating web applications to insure availability. - Key resource in the successful migration of the Paynet web application from Atlanta to St. Petersburg Fl. Planned and coordinated the migration to insure that SLA’s were met. - Architected and implemented file distribution process using ftp/pgp and scp that enables secure transmission of data to/from merchants such as Walmart, Dell, and Exxon.
