The Heds Party takes place after hours on the Sonic Stage in the Silver Hayes Arena.As Stage Manager Im in charge of 3 acts at any one time, ensuring all channels of the Silent Disco are up and running with a variety of music right up until 7am.Main Duties of the role include - • Liasing with Artist/Agent/Management.• Providing equipment set up to technical specification.• Handling Artist requests & delivering friendly hospitality.• Ensuring acts run smoothly and on time.• Strict finishing of show as per local authority licenses.

Since 2016 I've been the Stage Manager at the Ruffy's Lab Stage at Gottwood Festival in Anglesey.Throughout the 3 years I've held this role I've been able to build solid relationships with the Festival & it's Production Team and also worked very closely with the Stage's Inventor & Programmer - Ruf Dug.Over the years this stage has had some of the most creative and innovative entertainment I've ever seen, including but not limited to - Wine Tasting, Video Gaming, Synthesizer Workshops, UFO Lectures etc...

Breeze Leeds is run by Leeds City Council and offers a variety of Projects and Activities for children under the age of 19.As a Casual Artist Practitioner I provide DJ & Music Production Workshops at the Breeze On Tour Events throughout Summer and also during Term Time at the Friday & Saturday Night Projects.Main Duties Of The Role Include -• Setting up all equipment.• Developing Lesson Plans & Schedules.• Creating a fun & exciting learning environment.• Adapting to individual's learning pace.• Working with Children's own musical taste.• Encouraging Team Work & Critical Evaluation.• Behaviour Management.

West Yorkshire

Working With Mad4Sports I've developed and taught multiple iPad based subjects in a PPA & School Club format at various schools within West Yorkshire.The role had allowed me the freedom to develop exciting and creative workshops and activities for children aged between 6 - 11.Main Duties of the role include - • Developing Subjects with clear Learning Objectives & Goals.• Varying Activities to children's individual skill levels.• Adapting Lesson Plans on the fly to suit the needs of the class.• Creating effective strategies for individuals behaviour.• Utilising school's behaviour management policies.• Encouraging constructive criticism and feedback within the group.• Ensuring tasks are completed successfully within the workshop's timeframe.• Developing contingency plans & advanced activities for children that exceed expectations.• Occasional Cover in Sports Sessions.

Every Weekend The Hop has live bands in the evening, I am one of the In House Sound Engineers on rotation working with the acts before & throughout the show.Main Duties of the role include -• Setting up stage & monitoring as per specification.• Arranging Sound Check.• Controlling Mix throughout show.• Operating Behringer X32 Compact Mixer.• Troubleshooting on the fly.• Strict finishing of show as required by local licensing.

Working with The Music Consortium I've been doing a variety of work at Festivals, Art Installations, Corporate Events & Gigs.Main Duties of the role Include -• Building Set & Staging.• Production Runner.• Setting Up Truss - Affixing Lighting etc...• Working with Sound & Backline Technicians.• AV Tech Operation.• Loading & Unloading Trucks.

Yorkshire

Working for Junior Jam I delivered creative iPad workshops at various schools all around Yorkshire.Sessions often took place over a 6 week period as PPA cover or occasionally as one off lessons or part of a Holiday Club setting. The subjects taught were varied and included: Music Production, Photography, Animation, Computer Programming, Film, Podcasting & DJing.Although session guidelines were provided, I invested a lot of time and interest into developing my own resources and behaviour management techniques which I applied in my day to day teaching.I left this full time role to advance my career within the audio industry and to allow me to take on freelance opportunities and develop other skills further.
