I was also responsible for helping to run the shop floor, engaging directly with customers as well as ensuring the store maintains a clean and professional image.A large part of this role was also dealing with customer service both online and in store. Away from the shop floor, I was also responsible for helping the managing directors to maintain the stores online website. Duties included increasing potential sales by identifying key, related products and promoting them on the stores website. Picking and packing customer orders and then despatching them on the most suitable and cost effective postal service.I would report to the two managing directors of the company. Show less

My role involved engaging with customers, tailoring a solution to their needs and trying to maximise the profits in a potential sale. After two years I was transferred into the customer service department after an internal company reform. During this role I had to deal with customer issues on a daily basis from general queries to warranty issues and repairs. Here I developed key social skills which helped me to confidently overcome the issues I faced whilst maintaining a good customer relationship.Whilst working in customer service I also found myself helping out the technicians on site who carried out services and repairs. After a couple of months I was then transferred to the Tech support area of the store. From here, I still dealt with customer service however I was also entrusted with repairing customers computers, providing in depth technical advice and dealing with manufacturers directly in regards to warranty issues.
