Title: Electrical Instrument and Test Mechanic (EITM) Duty: trouble shooting board electronic components, adjust OP amplifiers feed back signal to make system stable, PLC systems for monitoring water flow, pressure, flow level, oxygen level, ammonia level. Calibration different kinds of sensors and transmitters (4-20 mA) for process controller. Boilers control system maintenance: high temperature control; high pressure control; cooling water conductivity control. Centrifuge CPU programming, Gas detector and vibration system design and installing. Turbo electrical generator system maintenance. Digital communication system for remote control. Frequency variable driver maintenance for main pumping station. Using three main elements to build SCADA system: (1)various RTU’s (remote telemetry units ,such as Rosemont 3051 industrial transmitters(4-20mA), AB PLC unis, GE Motion control unis, various digital/analog sensors (2)communications within a plant are data cable, wire or fiber-optic, while regional systems (substations) most commonly utilize radio and/or T2 line. (3)The HMI is essentially a PC system running powerful graphic and alarm software programs. the primary purpose of SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) is to monitor, control and alarm plant or regional operating systems from a central location. In Metropolitan Water Reclamation District , "plant" systems are typically water and wastewater treatment facilities, while "regional" systems include intake and/or effluent structures, sub-pumping stations, chlorination stations, control valve stations , boiler rooms, electrical power distribute systems and etc. While AB SLC 500 and PLC-5 PLC override control is possible, SCADA infrequently utilized on regional system control; however whose control set points are quite regularly changed by SCADA.
