As the Chief Impact Officer at Austin Habitat for Humanity, my main priority is to steer the organization toward positive social outcomes by strategically developing and overseeing impactful programs. This involves combining Client Services, Real Estate acquisition and planning, Construction, Home Repair, and HomeBase, while providing leadership and fostering collaboration among each department. Most importantly, we serve clients together to ensure they receive the best possible service.

I help the funding, volunteers and trades come together and make dreams come true.• Provide leadership to Home Repair, New Construction, & the Warehouse.• Collaborate with Senior Leadership to develop cohesive strategies to achieve Habitat’s mission.• Generate build schedules from an annual overview down to day-to-day actions.• Operational management of construction warehouse facility and truck fleet.• Oversee all aspects of post-land development construction process.

• Ensure all goals and standards regarding quality of construction, customer satisfaction, budgeting and house closings are met.• Manage construction activities to ensure that target costs are realized. This includes validating all cost changes to plan, evaluating elevation and community costs as needed, and reviewing invoices and purchase orders.• Acquire Gift in Kind materials and insure proper allocation of cost and recognition of donations.• Identify and research new products for the design, construction and finish of homes.• Prepare estimates for all new plans, elevations and structural options while also updating bids to reflect changes resulting from field variances.• Ensure all permits are acquired and adhere to all local/state codes.• Part of the Site Selection Committee in the search, evaluation and acquisition of suitable properties to build Habitat homes.

• Build, maintain, & strengthen relationships with community groups & social clubs.• Represent Habitat for Humanity and advocate its need in the community.• Procure & manage gift-in-kind donations for programs and events.• Communicate with stakeholders about the organization through social media, video, and e-mail marketing tools.• Research & implement community focused fundraising campaigns.
