Billy Williams is the Donor Relations Director of Nuru, and the Founder and Principal of Archegos Coaching. Billy started his career as an analytical chemist at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, and has been working at Nuru since before the organization launched in Kenya in 2008. Since 2014, Billy has also been serving alongside his wife actively engaging in advocacy as a Congressional district leader with Bono's ONE Campaign. Billy developed a hunger for listening to and telling good stories at a young age, and as Nuru’s lead advocate and storyteller, Billy has been invited to share at events around the globe. Billy is proud to call West Virginia home, and he and his wife Jamie love exploring the outdoors with their two small children. Billy is a husband, a father, a marathoner, a writer, and a passionate global poverty fighter who was born in the hills of Appalachia and continues to make his home amid the natural beauty of West Virginia. Billy has more than 20 years experience both leading and developing leaders from a wide array of career fields and professional disciplines including finance, healthcare, nonprofit, technology, and higher education.Billy is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through the Coactive Training Institute (CTI), which is one of the oldest and most well respected coach training companies in the world. Billy also holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and holds to the ICF Code of Ethics. He’s also a member of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the ICF. In April 2017, Billy was invited to join Forbes Coaches Council, an invitation only community for leading business and career coaches. Billy is passionate about seeing individuals and organizations transform themselves to bring their very best to make the world a better place, and is committed to doing the same in his own life.
