Served as the administrator, principal, educational, athletic, and motivational leader of a 501(c) School and church. I presided as Chairman of the School Board. Responsible for a multi-million dollar budget, fund-raising, scheduling, curriculum, staff development, marketing, developed an athletic program, extracurricular activities, personnel management, emergency procedures, and facility operations. Took the responsibility of taking a school consisting of kindergarten through eighth that was impacted by Hurricane Katrina and near closing their doors; to growing the school by adding grades ninth through twelfth just one year later after assuming this position. Provided necessary leadership to maintain staff, added state of the art computer lab, brought in new technology throughout the school and church, implemented an online system (Gradelink) for teachers and parents, enhanced and updated the curriculum. Started from scratch a booster club, coached, hired coaches, developed a sports program the very first year which included: football, boys’ and girls’ basketball, track & field, golf, swim team, and tennis. Worked extensively in acquiring accreditation with Mississippi Association of Independent Schools, (MAIS) for grades kindergarten through sixth. In the 2012-2013 school year completed full accreditation of all grades with MAIS and ILCS. Implemented a new policy of having all seventh through twelfth take the ACT test, which has increased ACT scores. Developed and oversaw the construction of a new athletic field. Led a staff consisting of a preschool director, 48 teachers, office staff, cafeteria workers, and maintenance personnel.

Served as children pastor, served on church executive staff, planed and coordinated weekly services, special programs each month, along with helping oversee over 100 volunteers on a weekly basis for the children’s ministry. I served on the Executive staff committee of the church, oversaw planning and conducted various educational programs for children and families of Christian education for each age level. These programs of the church consist of small groups, children’s church, mid-week services, 3 weekly chapel services for the academy, mission’s education, sports camp, kid’s camp, musicals, and I have traveled on and served as leader of mission trips locally and internationally.

After the devastation and impact of Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005, the Mississippi Gulf Coast needed to rebuild. Cedar Lake Christian Assembly/Academy took my wife and I on to oversee this highly important responsibility, to serve our community. With God's grace and blessing, we were able to be a part of feeding thousands during this time frame, be a part of rebuilding over 100 homes, rebuild CLCA Preschool, cafeteria, youth chapel, the Main Sanctuary,crying, laughing, and most importantly praying with individuals as they came in seeking help. We were responsible for coordinating deliveries, unloading food and supplies daily from shipments of semi-trailers, Worked with multiple volunteer teams and an incredible CLCA staff as these teams came in to get them out in the field to the individuals that needed assistance. We were blessed to oversee over Six-Million Dollars of food, supplies, equipment, and teams that came in from across the nation from the North East to the Southwest United States. Oversaw relief and construction efforts that helped rebuild over 100 homes from cleaning and gutting, minor drywall and painting; to full construction.

Also oversaw second location in Gulfport, MS; a resort store located in La Parguera, Puerto Rico and a wholesale location in Cozumel, Mexico. Worked with regional dive facilities, the Boy Scouts, local churches, & various groups throughout AL, FL, LA, MS, Mexico, and PR seeking participation in cruise travel, rental properties, education, and diving.
