Child Dreams was a high end educational and illustrated book store and finely crafted unique wood toy store. The store catered to a high end Hollywood / Beverly Hills market where top quality and unique selection were paramount. The product selection was vast and unique. Most of the toys were finely crafted very detailed wooden toys made by award winning woodworkers around the USA. The books we all hard bound award winning illustrated children's books. The store was in three locations catering to discriminating consumers, the entertainment industry and those who appreciated and sought out the best, healthy, educational books and toys for children. Often frequented by huge celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Andy Garcia, Delores Hope, David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen, James Spader, William Shatner, Meg Ryan and countless others along with many other diverse consumers.The store was owned and operated by my former wife and I. It was closed in 1996 due to the collapse of most small toy stores due to the damages that eToys caused to the toy industry. That devastation through the IPO period of scam companies killed off many small toy stores. It was that example of corrupt ecommerce that prompted me to develop and patent our SampleRewards.com system to help aid inventors and small retailers.
