Key ResponsibilitiesMy primary responsibility in my current role is ensuring every guest has a positive experience. This includes greeting & checking in guests to ensuring food and drink are sent out correctly and on time.In my role, it was my responsibility to manage function room bookings for events such as wakes, birthdays & christenings. This inculdes showing guests our function room and managing the booking’s capacity and catering options. On the day of the event it is my responsibility to set up the area and provide adequate staff to make sure all of the clients needs are met. On-shift, I am responsible for the staff currently working. Always being there to help and answer any questions & also delegating tasks, break times and when they could finish. In quieter times it would be my task to manage the cellar stock levels and deep clean the bar, glasses and lines.Personal AchievementsMy most outstanding personal achievement in this role is taking responsibility for the business, often on my own in busy times. The highlight of my time here is running an event with 150+ people.I am driven by the positive reviews of our service and hotel, with many praising our high ratings on both of our booking websites.
