    The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is dedicated to train investigators to identify and locate children that are being or have been exploited online. The goals of the task force include educating the citizens we serve about how to stay safe online. the ultimate goal is to rescue children that are being exploited and hold those offenders accountable. The Colorado Springs Police Department is one of 61 task force lead agencies in the United states and supported by more than 3000 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. the task force has been funded by a grant through the Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. The task force grew from 22 agencies in 2007 to more than 70 in Colorado between 2007 and 2014 and continues to fight online exploitation through collaborative and individual investigations.
