I have extensive experience within the hospitality and gaming industry, particularly in the running of multifaceted hotel venues. My strong planning and organisation skills, and ‘hands on’ management style, has allowed me to maintain and improve multiple high performing business’ operations, staff training and financial management. My ability to develop, maintain and meet key performance indicators is a result of effective operation procedures that I have developed and refined over my years in the industry. The procedures include effective management of cash, stock, and labour costs, as well as other operational expenditure within the business. I have extensive experience with workflow and delegation of duties appropriate for staff members and always ensure that I model appropriate conduct and ethical practices that hold the company in high repute. I regularly participate in strategic planning both internally and with key stakeholders, whilst ensuring that all facets of the business are meeting compliance, including operating within the constraints of the liquor licence. I have created a strong and positive relationship with the local community, including but not limited to the police, licensing officers, government agencies and local sporting teams. As a licensee I strive to create a culture that promotes teamwork through effective organisation, communication and training.
