• The role bridges the gap between construction activities and engineering design. • Working with multiple Electrical and Mechanical Engineers across numerous projects throughout the Maritimes, drawings and specifications are reviewed against construction submittals. • Change orders are created, and working with electrical designers, will update all required documentation to send to appropriate parties. • Will regularly schedule inspections, looking for electrical code violations and any deviations to drawings and specifications. Reports will then be generated and distributed to all required parties and will be followed up on a regular basis to ensure deficiency correction.• RFIs are reviewed and after discussing the issues with colleagues and stake holders, the RFIs are answered through email or other computer platforms. • Will travel throughout the Maritimes to conduct building condition assessments (BCRs) and create a detailed report for clients. This report is then used as the basis for design.• Participate in electrical commissioning activities, such as attending and contributing to meetings, creating electrical commissioning test sheets, travelling, witnessing commissioning activities, and final sign-off.

Upgraded old equipment that was no longer functional, so that the old control systems could interface with the new control systems of modern equipment.• Maintained power generating equipment and ancillary boiler system equipment, including control systems and PLC program troubleshooting.
