My main focus with TEC Engineering, Inc.was to drive day to day activities related to the strategic growth of the organization. This included creating and executing a marketing and sales strategy based on four key areas of growth. I utilized an account based marketing (ABM) approach to focus targeting, messaging, and resources. In the first year we fully developed the marketing and sales strategy and process, while executing in parallel. We held regular marketing meetings to discuss short/long term goals, budget and upcoming events. Our collateral and information was reformatted and updated for brochures, web, conferences and proposals. We focused resources in areas that we viewed as high potential and drawing back from overly competitive, lower potential areas. I also established lead quotas, forecasting and sales goals.A few successes included the redesign of TEC's website. This effort redeveloped look, feel and content. It also included installing a content management system to make editing and changes more efficient and easier. This was part of an ongoing effort to make the marketing and sales organization more data driven. The decision to redesign the website was based on Google Analytics data. Preliminary results showed a 22% decrease in Bounce Rate, 18% increase in time on page and a 23% increase in unique page views. Another benefit of this program was a responsive web design that increases mobile viewership. Our Constant Contact account was integrated into our Content Management system resulting in saved time and resources. I also completed our initial search engine optimization and most of our initial 301 redirects to "clean up" our older web presence. This included updating our search engine and social presence. The CMS was optimized using cache, code cleanup and image compression/sizing.
