• My responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, developing a price book, ordering material, developing SOP for the department, running all service calls, quoting small jobs, and handling all customer concerns.• As the business grew, we hired additional electricians and apprentices, so in addition to my previous duties I was responsible for new hire training, evaluating skills and abilities, and managing time for the employees.• Upon being promoted to Operations Manager, I quickly began many of the HR duties for CTX Plumbing and Electrical companies, as well as handling the day-to-day operations, and coordination of both trades in service and construction. • My duties grew to include estimating new construction projects, developing, and implementing service contracts, monitoring bid dates, maintaining relationships with customer and supply houses along with ensuring the daily flow of calls for the technicians.

My duties include supervising other electricians ranging from E-1 level to E-8 and coordinating them to achieve maximum production as well as helping to assure they still were placed with someone that could continue to help them learn and grow in the trade. I also maintained timesheets, production goals, material orders, conducting daily JHA’s , responsible for completing the job in a timely manner, coordinating any overtime needed with project manager, when crew was shorthanded filling for missing crew members. Maintained thorough daily reports, marking any delays in schedule. Uses Action Items list to track schedule delays Attending monthly supervisors’ meetings, drawing AS BUILTS, shop drawings, and changes. Coordinate with all other subs, with GC, and supervise my own subs as well. Reviewed submittals for any changes and coordinates with the PM. Did material take-off to be incorporated into a CBOM. Arranging any over time or afterhours work as needed.

I started out as a tech in the field and quickly rose to manager of the electrical department. As manager I am responsible for the electricians’ daily activities out in the field, training the customer service skills, recruiting new techs, etc.…I was also responsible from developing a price book, pay structure, on call rotation, and arranging the right tech for the right calls. Six months after becoming electrical manager I was given the responsibility of handling the office duties for the plumbing division, which included their price book, pay structure, and on call rotation with the assistance of a master plumber to handle many of the field duties. Currently for both departments I handle job cost analysis, review pay for each tech and commissions associated with it as well as adjustments for financing options and buy downs. Any commercial projects for electrical I bid out and oversee the completion. I handle most interviews for both departments in addition to arranging entry into company trucks, material stock on the trucks, and tool assignment and maintenance. I work very closely with the accounting department on behalf of both plumbing and electrical to ensure proper payment for jobs and proper pay out to the techs along with job costing to bill to other departments.

As well as repair work and add-ons in a commercial and light industrial setting. Wiring control systems for frac sand plants, asphalt plants, was the primary on call electrician for my company for any afterhours calls outside of residential setting. Also acted as estimator on small projects and when needed out in the field, attend pre-bid meetings and coordination meetings.
