Billy Jack Annis has served in information services for over 18 years. He has experience in corporate and consulting services in the technology field. His positions range from intern for AmSurg Corporation to Information Systems Support specialist, Senior Web Systems Administrator, Imaging Systems Administrator, to Network Administrator. As System Administrator, his responsibilities included 12 server systems, corporate communications to Department Heads, end-user training, and creation of training materials for all digital document management systems. His most famously used at AmSurg is “the Five Simple Rules for Scanning” by Billy Jack. His help was labeled by his peers as “Level Billy Support” at AmSurg. The honor bestowed on him solving IT problems after all others had failed. He has been a Microsoft certified professional since 2001. In 2001, Billy Jack earned an Associates in Applied Science in Communication Technology from Nashville State Technical Institute and a Bachelors Degree in Physics with Dual Minors in Mathematics and Engineering. He is a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Susan G. Komen, and Crohn’s Colitis of America. Billy Jack is also a Gulf War Veteran that served 8 years in the United States Army.
